All children aged 3-4 years living in the England are entitled to 15 hours of free childcare with some being entitled to 30 hours free childcare. Some 2 year olds are also eligible for 15 hours childcare, please check with the local authority to see f you are eligible. Children are welcome to extra sessions for which there is an hourly charge as follows:

  • 2 years - £4.90 per hour
  • 3 years or more - £4.50 per hour

Early arrival/ late collection of a child may result in additional fees being incurred, charged in 15-minute increments.

Children will only be released to their main carer or parent unless pre-arranged with the preschool.

Yes we do. The policy documents are available for you to view at any time during our opening hours.

We cannot take children who are ill as it can rapidly spread to other children. If you child has vomited or had diarrhea, then they will need to be clear for 48 hours before returning to the preschool.
Children should be dressed in comfortable, practical play clothes and some should come equipped with suitable hot or cold weather clothing as appropriate.
Yes! We encourage parents to sign up to a snack rota which helps to provide a variety of foods from different backgrounds and cultures.
Each child must be signed in and out by their parent/guardian and children will only be released to an authorised guardian.
This really is dependent on the volume of snow, ability of staff to get to school and whether the village is accesible. Please check our Facebook page for updates.

We are open during term time only and co-ordinate our Teacher Training days with the local primary school, All Cannings.
